I’ve been dreaming of being a writer since I can remember. When I was a kid I had one of those typewriters for teenagers (I don’t recall its brand anymore) my parents offered me as a birthday gift. I remember being in the kitchen’s table, typing away, making loud clack noises with the door closed and trying not to disturb my family too much. I’ve been writing ever since but only recently have I started finishing my stories. And the more I wrote, the more I discovered that I could really do this. So, around six months ago I’ve decided to embrace my career as a writer head-on. I quit my job and focused solely on writing. And I’ve been writing around 6 to 8 hours a day, everyday. Yesterday my dream became true: I’ve published my first book. It’s been had work and a real roller coaster of emotions but it was worth it. And after a whole day of tweeting away and telling about my friends about it, I’m now almost ready to start writing a new story. I really hope that I can ignore that voice telling me to go see if I’ve sold another book or not and tweet about it because I really need the piece of mind to concentrate and write! Oh, and as a celebration I had the most wonderful chocolate cake yesterday evening. Thanks babe!

PS – thanks in advance if you were one of my first round of buyers. It’ll help paying my bills and continuing writing 🙂
