You know what? Today is a good day!

I’m on the final stretch of my current work in progress and I’m liking it. This is unusual for me. Normally, I’m drowned in questions and doubts about the quality of the work but this time I think I could be on the verge of really nailing something interesting here.

Please don’t get me wrong as I’m not implying this will be the next I’m robot or something – it won’t be because it’s m/m and not a sci-fi story. I’m only saying that I, personally, like it – although in the beginning I wasn’t sure about the “darkness” of it all.

How do I put this without spoiling the story? It’s not that this book is dark (it’s a bit more compared to the lightness of Stripped Expectations) but it deals with suffering, insecurities and a whole lot more I’m not going to disclose. You’ll have to read it when the time comes 🙂

This makes me feel all fuzzy and warm inside, not because of the excellent score (yeah!) but because I just love to know that someone, somewhere enjoyed my words and I was able to make them believe in my little world.

And the sun is shining and my Mac is not as sluggish anymore, because I updated its RAM. You know the saying: if you don’t have the money to buy a new one, upgrade its memory – despite what some people think, not all authors are as lucky as J.K. Rowling, money-wise.

Anyhow, I’m hoping to have this story wrapped up in a couple of weeks. Then off to editing, beta reading and more editing!

Happy reading everyone and remember: be kind to one another. We all deserve it 🙂
