May 17th is a worldwide day dedicated to celebrating sexual and gender diversities. It was created in 2004 to remind everyone that discrimination against LGBTQ people still exist and happens everyday and that we are not in the clear; we still have to fight for our rights and show that LGBTQ people are just people like everyone else.

Anyway, stay tuned because my blog will be part of a blog hop on the next Sunday (that is, several blogs and websites that will be raising awareness to this issue). And I come bearing gifts! So, come by on the next 17th of May to know all about it.
